Product Description & Technical Notes

Challenges of Miniaturized Design and Stringent Tolerances

Wearable device housings often integrate multiple sensors and micro‑components, demanding intricate internal structures and high‑precision dimensional matching. Leveraging multi‑axis CNC machining equipment (including 3‑axis, 4‑axis, 5‑axis and turn‑mill composite machines), Vimet can handle complex geometric features inside housings such as multi‑curved surfaces, deep cavities and thin‑wall structures. Its routine machining accuracy is controlled within ±0.01 mm, and a CPK value of ≥1.33 is achievable for critical mating dimensions, ensuring stable embedding of functional modules and reliable overall device performance.

One‑stop Service from Structural Strength to Aesthetics

To address the diverse requirements of wearable devices for material strength, lightweight properties and surface texture, Vimet processes a wide range of housing materials: aluminum alloy (55 %), stainless steel (20 %), titanium alloy (5 %), and engineering plastics such as PEEK/POM (3 %). We also provide supporting surface‑treatment services including anodizing, electroplating, sandblasting and wire drawing. These services meet housing requirements for corrosion resistance, wear resistance, visual appeal and tactile feel, enabling full realization of product design concepts.
